The Most Common Terms That Are Used in Web Hosting
Web host uses several terminologies that only people familiar to web hosting could possibly know. As they are not commonly used in everyday lives, some of these terms may totally be foreign to other people. These terms however were important to everyone in order to work through web development smoothly.
1. Domain Name: the domain name is basically the address that would point to your site (i.e. the name of your business or company). 8. Firewall: similar to an “invisible gate”, firewall is created to keep your network securely and prevent eavesdropper.
9. Control Panel: this is an interface that lets you control and manage your site’s interface; from here you can work with the editing, adding or deleting features or data from your site.
